Clean Fun
A friend of mine sent me a link to a fun game. Kid safe and a pure reflex game. Warning: it has sounds, so do not play at work unless you want people to know you are on break. It is a short game, but may be addictive. It ranks your reflexes. Most of the time I was a Bobbing bobcat, so I kept playing until I finally achieved the title of a Rocketing rabbit. I wonder if my kids will become a Turbo-charged cheetah, but that looks to be beyond my current reflexes. At least on my new (very fast) office PC - one week old. Wonder if the game would be easier on a slower PC?
I also tried the game with my eyes closed once as it give audio feedback. It worked, but it slowed me to an Ambling armadillo
update: I got home and tried it on a much older computer. On my first and only attempt I got the Turbo-charged cheetah with an average time of 0.0228 seconds. It is a fun game, but don't pay too much attention to the rankings. A slow computer makes it easy and a fast computer makes it almost impossible. Reminds me of the first time I played a computer game (Defender) designed for the original IBM PC on the PC AT (with a 286 processor). The 286 was so (relatively) fast that the game was over before you had a chance to see anything...
