Unbelievable
Long-time readers know I bleed orange. In other words, I am a huge fan of the Tennessee Volunteers. One of my treasured sports memories is going to Tempe, Arizona to watch the Vols defeat FSU and win the national championship.

This weekend I was too busy to watch any college football, but I also knew that the UT/LSU game had been postponed until Monday due to Hurricane Rita. As I missed Saturday's games I consoled myself that I could watch my team Monday night. It was a make or break game for the Vols after what I would call bad coaching cost them their previous game against the Florida Gators. That was clearly a game where a weaker team was better coached and defeated a stronger rival.

Last night I finished teaching, went home and gulped down a meal. Then my family and I went out to our house site and spoke with a contractor for while. We went home, put the kids to bed, and I was so exhausted I went to bed early. I completely forgot about the UT/LSU game and missed one of the most exciting comebacks in recent Volunteer history. I don't know which is more unbelievable – the comeback or the fact I forgot the game was on.
